The starship Va'jacoth of Saturn appeared above the Watchtower and
demanded the surrender of Jemm while Martian Manhunter was taken to Mars
by Orion. He visited the Hall of Memory and switched his Earth mass
with Martian mass in order to become whole again. Green Lantern constructed a shield around the Watchtower while
Martian Manhunter returned to infliftrate the Va'jacoth. He briefly
fought Princess Cha'rissa, who accused him of torturing Jemm. The
Saturnian Prime Minister D'all introduced himself and explained that
they believed Jemm was the savior who would unite their people and came
to bring him home to marry the princess. Martian Manhunter explained
that he had been impersonated by his brother Malefic who tortured Jemm
before being thrown into the Sun. D'all also revealed that some reds and
whites wanted the treaty to fail and use Jemm's condition as an excuse
to break it, as well as a possible pretext to invade Earth. On Saturn, Cabal debated on killing the princess in order for the
treaty to fail. Back on the Va'jacoth, Martian Manhunter visited the
unconscious Jemm and used his powers to help the Saturnian reclaim
himself. Then, Cha'rissa asked Martian Manhunter about his family before
the ship was attacked and boarded by pirates who demanded the surrender
of Jemm and Cha'rissa. Martian Manhunter impersonated Jemm, who was
still recovering, and surrendered himself with Cha'rissa to Horatio
Destiny, captain of bad ship Kharma. Destiny ordered his crew to blow up
the Va'jacoth, then kill "Jemm" and Cha'rissa.
