Oracle has found where the CIA is keeping the physical evidence that could expose Cassandra Cain
as the girl who fought their agents, and she wants to send Batgirl in
to take it while she destroys the digital evidence. Batgirl and Batman do not think this is necessary until Oracle reminds them that this evidence could be used to identify Batgirl.

Oracle guides Batgirl through the facility as she collects the
evidence and evades security measures, then causes an explosion that
allows her to escape more easily. Oracle congratulates her on not
existing again, but Batgirl cuts her off, saying she is needed in
Gotham.

Oracle contacts Batman and asks him why Batgirl is taking hits she
could dodge. They agree that it is psychological, and Oracle wants
Batgirl to have a life outside the Cave like a normal seventeen-year-old
girl. Batman, however, believes she needs to see the CIA agent Masters
brought to justice for killing Johnson.

Batgirl does so, but it doesn't make her feel any better about
Johnson's death. She meets Barbara at a cafe. Barbara tells her that
justice is important, but life is more important.
